Despite a slight rain at the beginning, the audience's spirits remained high, invigorated by the band's energetic blend of polka, rock, and folk music from various decades. The 13-person group played crowd favorites like "Polka Never Dies" by the Dreadnoughts, "That's Amore" by Dean Martin, and "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago. “Polkatz started in 2021 and was formed by some members of the Polkaboy in honor of their memory and to carry on the tradition of music for all ages. Bryan Headrick, Pete Gabel, Bruce Knepper, and Dave Newman were in Polka Boy and helped form Polkatz, which has 11 members in the band.
